Easy to use in good quality

I have been using this product for years when I change glass out an old wooden windows. Seems to still be holding and looking great years later.

I had not glazed a window pane in 25 years, this product is way easier to use than the old glazing mix.

Looks at a display that shows all the panels used

The display that we were shown at Lowe's didn't show any rough places in the panels. After the installation there were several panels that had dark colored sports on them that were rough to the touch. There are some that had like long scratches on them. We are concerned that these areas will wear down and may cause damage to bear feet. Lowe's sent out someone from their installation company to look at the panels.

Good stuff, if you get a 'good' batch

I have used about a dozen 10oz tubes of this over the last few months to replace window panes in my house. About 75% of the tubes are great--consistency is perfect and it's easy to get a nice clean glazing. However, with about 25% of the tubes, the viscosity is way too low. The product sags and sometimes is so thin that pools up on the window pane. When I get a tube like this now I just throw it away and buy another, because with the "thin" batches it's almost impossible to use.

Simple Way to make a Tough Job Easy!

I've been using this stuff for more than a year now. Seems to hold up well! Unfortunately, owning an older home, I occasionally have to reglaze my windows (sad face). I think I tried using window glazing once and it wasn't very pretty! Then they came out with this! Well, I Can Caulk, so I Tried it! Last year, we had some Hail Storms. The problem with that was, everyone else in the town had lots of broken windows too! Plus, I was to cheap to pay someone else to do something that I could do! Then ...

unfortunatly mother nature decided to freeze the night after i applied this and it ran and made a mess.

Sloppy but wiped it into spaces

Excellent for Bedding

Excellent for bedding the glass onto the sash. Saves a lot of time than setting a perfect height bead with the DAP 33 compound. I then use the DAP 33 for the glazing.
