What Customers Are Saying

The plaster sets up quickly, typically within 6-10 minutes, making it well-suited for patching holes, cracks, and other small repairs. It can be used to create a smooth, seamless finish when repairing plaster or drywall, and is easy to sand down. The plaster is also popular for arts and crafts applications, such as making molds, statues, and distressed paint finishes. However, the fast setting time means it's important to work in small batches to avoid waste, and mixing the right consistency is crucial.

Great Value and Very Versatile!

Would Recommend

Very versatile. I used it not only to create a distressed wood look on my walls but also created chalkboard paint. Much less expensive than buying premade paint.

Mix small amounts

Would Recommend

It works great when you’re in a rush and want to paint the same day, or need to match a textured ceiling or wall in an older home with plaster. It’s not joking about the 6-10 min set time. I ended up mixing half a cup at a time to fix cracks and match a ceiling texture.

Reliable and Fast-Setting Plaster

Would Recommend

used the 8-lb 30-Minute Set Time Plaster of Paris for some quick drywall and ceiling repairs, and it performed exactly as expected. The setting time was right around 25 minutes, which gave me enough time to work with it before it hardened. The consistency was smooth and easy to mix, and it adhered well to the surface without excessive shrinking or cracking. One thing to keep in mind is that once it starts setting, it goes fast—so mixing small batches is best to avoid waste. Overall, this is a g...

Worked great

Would Recommend

Worked great for patching deep 1/4” holes in a plaster wall. I was hesitant to use it instead of spackling. But it was quick and easy to mix and to use. It definitely dries as a much harder compound than the spackling. It was a little more runny than I expected, so I put it into a sandwich baggie and squeezed it into the hole like frosting. I let the first layer deep in the hole dry, and then filled it the rest of the way.

Get for plaster art projects

Would Recommend

A great thing to use for plaster art projects. Love the size of the container... It's a decent amount but not hard to store so worked well for my purposes. The lid is easy to get off and back on again and the handle makes it easy to carry around. I made my plaster more sturdy by substituting some of the water for cement liquid so consider that if you need to create a plaster product that is more sturdy.
