It works great when you’re in a rush and want to paint the same day, or need to match a textured ceiling or wall in an older home with plaster. It’s not joking about the 6-10 min set time. I ended up mixing half a cup at a time to fix cracks and match a ceiling texture.

Reliable and Fast-Setting Plaster

used the 8-lb 30-Minute Set Time Plaster of Paris for some quick drywall and ceiling repairs, and it performed exactly as expected. The setting time was right around 25 minutes, which gave me enough time to work with it before it hardened. The consistency was smooth and easy to mix, and it adhered well to the surface without excessive shrinking or cracking. Great for patching up clay pots or repurposing old ones. This is great for look-a-like aged vessels and is so easy to work with.

Worked great for patching deep 1/4” holes in a plaster wall. I was hesitant to use it instead of spackling. But it was quick and easy to mix and to use. It definitely dries as a much harder compound than the spackling. It was a little more runny than I expected, so I put it into a sandwich baggie and squeezed it into the hole like frosting. I let the first layer deep in the hole dry, and then filled it the rest of the way.

Gallon size was more economical than milk carton size and easier to use. Fast drying and easy to use for small plaster job

Get for plaster art projects

A great thing to use for plaster art projects. Love the size of the container... It's a decent amount but not hard to store so worked well for my purposes. The lid is easy to get off and back on again and the handle makes it easy to carry around. I made my plaster more sturdy by substituting some of the water for cement liquid so consider that if you need to create a plaster product that is more sturdy.
