great stuff

ive used several containers of this product without an issue, proper surface prep, and being sure not to apply too thick. i have had 100% great results, and i use it in an industrial setting where it really counts that you can not see the difference in area once painted. i would recommend and continue using this product, last use and purchase was today.

No good

Too thick. Not mixed up well. Not easy to work with at all. Needed to add water to get through a small job and never will buy again. Shrunk too much.

Great for quick and fast repairs

Good compound for quick patches and the color changing helps identify when you're ready for next coats or to paint. Only wish it were a little thicker as when patching a larger hole it did run down and out slightly, leaving a bit of a glob of mud. Was able to easily scrape off excess and finish out patch with no issues.

Great product

Used the DryDex joint compound to repair my wall for painting. Easy to use. Dried quickly.

Easy to work with

I used this to for a small wall patch. The compound was easy to work with. It went on smooth and dried quickly. I liked that it went on pink and dried white. It made it really easy to know when it was ready to be sanded and painted.

DO NOT BUY ! ! !

I'm not a pro, but I have done a lot of drywall repair on rental property & flipping houses. This product is awful. Consistency is rubbery. It does not adhere well. Tape comes loose at the edges unless an excessively thick layer of joint compound is used. Virtually impossible to lay down a smooth finish layer. Thinning with water helps slightly, but the product id still terrible.

Don’t buy this

I had a small drywall job. The size of this was perfect BUT the quality is awful. This product is too lite and thin. After drying the drywall seam was visible across the room and the screw heads would not fill even after two coats. I ended up buying the regular joint compound and it worked great

Won't bed joint tape

This stuff is junk. I have tried multiple times to bed joint tape with this product and it always cracks. I have never had that problem with standard joint compound

broke open during shipment and spilled a bunch out.

Waste of money and double the work

Literally has to be one of the worst products on the market. No matter what you do or how long you wait before painting, all it does it bubble up and crack. I finally got tired of trying to fit it and all the places I've used it I'm working getting it all scraped off including the paint. I'm really annoyed by this....so much more work to do.

Do not buy this garbage

Shrinks like crazy, it took three days of filling and drying to fill a hole the size of a dime. It sands well, but once painted, it all cracked. Now I have to sand, mud, sand, and paint again.
