Ratings & Reviews for CRAFTSMAN Standard (SAE) 6-point Impact Socket Individual
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this impact socket for exceptional durability, strength, and reliable performance in demanding tasks. The black oxide coating and heavy-duty construction withstand extreme torque without failure, with reviewers noting it "takes a beating" and should outlast years of use. The 6-point deep-well design excels at stubborn jobs like water heater anode rod removal and lug nut servicing. Customers trust the brand's legacy and lifetime warranty, consistently reporting the socket "did exactly what it was supposed to do." Value is excellent, with individual socket availability allowing cost-effective purchasing. A few mention minor preferences like metric options, but these isolated notes barely diminish overwhelming satisfaction.

Fits perfect
Would RecommendI have tried other brands and you can definitely see the difference in a quality tool. Worth the extra Money
Durable and does the job
Would RecommendI’ve always liked craftsman. The kids permanently borrowed my other 1/2 by 3/4 inch socket, so I had to replace it. These guys take a beating.

Removal of over tightened Lug Nuts
Would RecommendAfter breaking a Craftsman 7/8 deep socket 1/2 inch drive and a 1/2 inch drive extension because my lug nuts were too tight, I went and purchased this impact socket and borrowed a neighbor's Craftsman electric impact driver and still could not loosen the lug nuts, I then used my breaker bar with the impact socket and that finally worked. I also used WD 40. I Give this impact socket a 5 out of 5!

7/8 Deep Well Socket
Would RecommendThis socket locks good on my ratchet or impact driver. I don't have to worry about it falling off in the middle of my work. The metal is very strong. I love the etching of the size on the side of the socket. The black oxide coating last a long time. The socket is deep enough to fit over my wheel studs on my one ton van and truck.
