Would RecommendThis is a good planer. It cuts really well and easy to hold on one hand. The main issue i have is the blade clamp is plastic. I was cutting a really hard wood, hickory, and the blade shifted. I loosened the blade to adjust it back to center and noticed that the blade was bent outward significantly. I attempted to bend it back enough to reinstall it and it broke in half. I know the blade is hardened steel, but I don't think it should have broken so easily.
