What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the heavy-duty construction, large easy-to-read numbers, and reliable performance, with most stating they would recommend or repurchase. The thick blade, wide design, and sturdy belt clip withstand demanding job site use, while the magnetic tip and ergonomic grip enhance usability. Many highlight the smooth retraction and clear measuring lines as standout features. A few report blade flexibility issues beyond eight feet or assembly concerns, but these represent a small fraction of feedback. Overall, reviewers feel the durability and performance justify the investment.

Slightly overpriced for its value
Would RecommendHonestly a bit weak as far as tape measures go. I have cheaper ones that hold up better and don't crack over the same distance.

worst tape ever
Would Not RecommendGot the extra-long tape for barn building. Did not have the reach as advertised. Retracted inconsistently and when it did retract it would do so with so much inertia that upon stopping it would spin out of your hand. Its final death was when the blade got caught it kinked and cracked. the crack then tore.
Happy Customer
Craftsman makes some of the best non-power tools out there. And, now, that includes this measuring tape.

It has an extra wide blade that makes it super easy to read the numbers. The tape measure glides and retracts well. Additionally, I appreciate the rugged rubber overmold for increased grip.
