What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these tape measures for exceptional durability, clarity, and value. Most highlight sturdy construction with blades that resist bending even when extended over 11 feet, and housings that survive drops from 20 feet without damage. The large, bold markings are frequently called easy to read without glasses, with bright yellow or white backgrounds and well-marked 12-inch and 16-inch increments. The smooth locking mechanism and belt-clip functionality enhance usability. Many customers view them as outstanding value and report purchasing multiple units or switching from competing brands. A few mention minor issues like slightly flimsy clips or textured surfaces collecting dirt, but these are rare trade-offs. Overall, reviewers consider them durable, reliable favorites.

Make sure you get the one that is Made in America

 Would Recommend

The Craftsman Made in America measuring tape is a really great tape. I use the 16' for plumbing rough in and cabinet layout and that is usually all the tape I need. Light weight, easy to read, feels comfortable in my hand.
