What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the trimmer's lightweight design and ease of use, making it ideal for small yards and quick touch-ups, especially for older users or those with limited strength. However, many report insufficient power for demanding tasks, struggling with tall grass and thick weeds. Battery life is a significant concern, with reviewers noting short runtime and expensive replacement costs. Some experience mechanical failures like broken components or faulty auto-feed mechanisms. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find it suitable for light-duty trimming tasks.

Would Not RecommendMaybe I've been spoiled with 2 cycle. This weed eater barely does minimal jobs well. Incredibly frustrating. I love Craftsman products and will continue to try out other products but this one was s let-down for me.

Not worth the money
Would Not RecommendI found this trimmer on sale for $59 and figured I couldn’t go wrong for that price. I was definitely wrong. I have a well kept yard that requires a little trimming around the edging and this thing could barely get the job done. I bought it to replace a 10 year old Black and Decker 20v trimmer and this Craftsman has about half the power yet consumes a 2.0ah battery twice as fast. Trust me, this is junk and is a disgrace to the Craftsman lineup…don’t waste your money.

Would RecommendI have another brand trimmer that I'm waiting for a part to arrive to get it back working. It's a very nice trimmer that takes out just about any kind of weed/grass. In the meantime, my weeds are exploding out back and my new puppy keeps eating them. So, I need something quick, and for the price, I hoped this Craftsman 20V trimmer could be the answer. But, it's definitely for small jobs. Right out of the box, I'm impressed with the build, and the weight. This could be really nice. The battery t...

I never received the product! I was told that it was delivered but come to find wrong address. Next day my son went to get it at wrong address & that address doesn’t exist. The 2nd customer service gal said she doesn’t show it being delivered. Then said she sent a new one but it would also go to wrong address. Makes no sense. Know I’m waiting for my refund.
