What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the trimmer's lightweight design and ease of use, calling it ideal for small yards and quick touch-ups, especially for older users or those with limited strength. However, significant frustration centers on battery performance—many report runtime of only 15–20 minutes and defective chargers or batteries failing after minimal use. Several note insufficient cutting power for thick grass or tall weeds, describing it as weak for demanding tasks. Some report mechanical failures including broken auto-feed mechanisms and snapped plastic components. Despite convenience benefits, recurring reliability and power concerns temper overall satisfaction.

Battery no good.
Bought this and never used it due to back injury and family illness. Anyway took it out of the box today and tried to charge the battery and even tried on my other Craftsman charger and the battery refuses to take a charge. Now I am having to buy a new battery when this one was never even used. Have Always trusted Craftsman but this isn't acceptable to me at all. Still under Craftsman warranty as well but I don't have the receipt any longer but its under my purchase history on my Lowes Card. Bo...

Great for small yards. But not for large ones . Not very powerful. Battery does not last long. Approximately 45 minute charge before it needs recharging .

Cheap for a reason
Would Not RecommendYou get what you pay for. The string is so thin it gets jammed easily. I must have had the string too long and it got wound around the inside motor. I have no way to release it. I only used it a couple times and now it is useless
