All the problems
Would Not RecommendI am finding that I am experiencing many of the problems noted below. I have to manually feed the string, I can't find a replacement spool, and the battery life has not been great. I live in a remote community in Northern Canada so it is hard to get equipment or parts if I can't order on line.

Little option to control line length
Would RecommendI bought this weed eater because it shows to have a button that allows ME to extend the line. It is true that it has a button, but the line extends at will and the weed eater will actually stop working because the line it self-extended is too long. So, I have to stop, rewind the line, and then continue. This is NOT what was advertised. Had I known it would self-extend the line, I would not have purchased this item.
