What Customers Are Saying
The Craftsman V20 cordless string trimmer is a lightweight and maneuverable tool suitable for basic yard maintenance tasks. It performs well for light trimming and edging, though may struggle with thicker weeds or overgrown areas. The automatic line feed feature is convenient, but some users reported issues over time. Battery life is the main limitation, typically lasting 15-30 minutes on a full charge of the included 2Ah battery. This trimmer is a good value for homeowners with small to medium-sized properties who need a cordless option for light-duty yard work, though those with larger or more heavily overgrown yards may require a more powerful model.

Would RecommendI got this on sale and it was great for the price. We have a side yard that a lawn mower can't easily maneuver, and this worked well. We did let the yard get long this year, so it took a long time to trim down. I would suggest getting an additional battery if you have a bigger project, it took me a few days to get the grass down with one battery that needed to be recharged.

Good
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good. The string assembly wasn’t good. I had to replace it. The rest is fine

Battery life is questionable
Would Not RecommendBought this particular model because of its light weight and while it is light and easy to work with it goes through batteries like there is no tomorrow. And it takes forever for the batteries to recharge as well, so unless you have multiple batteries and chargers you will only get limited use from this particular unit.
Needs a bigger battery but works great

When you can’t find the trimmer string and cap replacement- what good is it!?!??? The trimmer itself was great.

Awesome product, price and service
Would RecommendMade my decision to purchase based on reviews. I don’t think the low reviews of some are correct. This Craftsman weed eater was a great price and worked awesome right out of the box. Instructions were clear. Good power, light weight and easy to handle. Highly recommended. Lowe’s staff was fantastic as always.
