What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this power tool combo for excellent value and reliable performance on home projects. Most highlight the tools' ample power, with batteries lasting through full jobs—some reporting four hours of continuous use with charge remaining. The brushless motor design and power meter feature are frequently appreciated. Many users value the seamless battery compatibility across the broader tool ecosystem, allowing them to build a unified cordless system without duplicating batteries. The included case and compact design add practical convenience. Reviewers consistently describe the set as a great value and perfect for homeowners, with many stating it paid for itself after one project. A small group reports quality inconsistencies like wobbling chucks or loose components, and some note the included batteries are insufficient for extended tasks. Overall, most customers consider it an excellent purchase.

Would Not RecommendI bought the 20v combo set 3 months ago I bet it doesn't have 10hrs on them the first time using the palm sander 1 day of use quit working and now 1 of the batteries has already stoped working has 2 bars key the trigger and it works enough to barely turn the drill over 1 spin I thought Craftsman was better than that total junk and that set isn't cheap money down the drain I'm a big supporter of craftsman not after this.

Wimpy
Would Not RecommendBrushless version might be ok. Craftsmen brushed V20 Cordless tools are wimpy! Orbital sander last about a year but will stop sanding flat after six months. The chucks on these drills are as tough as wet cardboard is strong! The reciprocating saw is anything but smooth. The brushed version is not made in USA. Only half decent cordless tool in the whole lot is the impact driver. Perhaps the brushless version would be decent, but brushed version not worth buying. Battery packs lose charge fast.
crap
Would Not Recommendbought this exact set and not even a year of usage the batteries get super hot (cutting nails in pallet wood) the drill has to be smacked against something to get it to turn back on, the drill head is wobbling around like its broken or about to fall apart, the circular saw wont even cut through a full sheet of 1/2 inch plywood without stalling out. both batteries wont even last an hr. TOTAL GARBAGE. the 18v chicago electric cordless drill that i have that's 6 years old, used and abused puts ou...

feel the power
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now used all of these tools for multiple jobs. they work great. I cant believe the power the saws have to cut like it is going threw butter. when I bought these I thought I would use them only when I didn't have a plug accessible . But since I found out they work so well. I use these tools even when their is a plug accessible to use.

Only 1 year later they are falling apart
Would Not RecommendI bought this set with high hopes of them being the Craftsman tools I remembered from my younger years; this was certainly not the case. After owning these just over a year now, I can say these are garbage. 6 months after purchase, the circular saw began bending when using any amount of pressure, which made it impossible to cut a straight line. The drill is falling apart and the chuck has a wobble to it. The impact driver is falling apart as well, it is separating at the grip where the plastic...

Weak
Would Not RecommendThe circular saw and reciprocating saw are absolutely trash. No power at all. Trying to return the 6 piece set now. Save your money!
Does things others can't.
Would RecommendBorrowed this kit from a friend for a project, and the electric screwdriver was so superior to my DeWalt 12V that there were things I could do only with this kit. The cordless circular saw works well, as does the drill. I haven't tried the sawzall or the vibrating saw yet.

Good for the homeowner
Would RecommendHad this kit almost a year , and I am finishing the building of my house, so all work is inside. Out of all the tools, the one that doesn't cut the mustard (or wood in this case) is the skill saw. I have tried three different batteries, and none of them have the power to drive it. I am really disappointed in that because I use that tool a lot. Sawzall and oscillation tools work fantastic. I would recommend kit unless you need the skill saw.
