Ratings & Reviews for Corona ComfortGEL 37-in Telescoping Carbon steel Bypass Lopper
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these loppers for exceptional cutting performance, with carbon steel blades that cut through branches effortlessly and maintain sharpness through dozens of uses. The telescoping handle is frequently highlighted as transformative, adding reach and leverage for hard-to-reach branches while locking securely. Many commend the ergonomic design, including ComfortGEL grips and soft rubber handles that reduce hand fatigue during extended use. However, a notable group reports structural failures at the handle-to-blade joint or along the extension mechanism under moderate pressure, with some experiencing breakage after only a few uses. Despite these durability concerns, most customers find the cutting performance and reach justify the investment.

Would Not Recommendhandle broke on 3rd limb. poor metal
Telescoping Handles Sub-par
Would Not RecommendCame in for new Fiskars but not available in-store so figured the telescoping Corona might be of more use to reach higher limbs. Mentioned it to friend days later and he pointed out his identical lobber. “Bought mine 4 months ago and first time I used extended handles they bowed permanently and won’t retract.” I took it back and will order a Fiskars online.

Better than fiskars imo
Would RecommendDoesn’t require a lot of strength to make a clean cut. I’m not smashing my knuckles together. Feels durable. I’m happy with my purchase. Time will tell. Also the price is average.

Broken after a few months after purchase
Would Not RecommendI just bought this in February 2025. I used it a few times, nothing extreme. I used it today, June 2025, after not using it for a couple months and it broke just like the one shown in a prior review. Clearly, poor quality.
