What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these outdoor shades for exceptional sun-blocking performance, blocking up to 90% of UV rays while keeping patios noticeably cooler. Installation stands out as remarkably easy, with most completing setup alone in under an hour using minimal or no tools. The durable, lightweight material maintains visibility while filtering sunlight, and customers report units lasting four years or more without degradation. Many value the added privacy and modern aesthetic appeal. A few note minor issues with crank mechanisms or wind flapping, though these affect a small fraction of users.

I give it a B+
Would RecommendI have a double window facing the evening sun and wow does it heat up our home and make our AC work harder. These roll out exterior blinds are perfect to block that building heat and help the electric bill in the process.

Working well
Would RecommendWorking well so far. The instructions were easy enough. I put two next to each other so they were easy to switch the poles to the other side to prevent a gap. It’s early spring, but they are blocking the sun well enough so far. Good for the price.

Good value for their intended purpose.
Would RecommendWe currently have 4 coolaroos installed around the house and the porch and appreciate how helpful they are in blocking the searing sunlight. It's a very cost effective measure to limit the penetration of UV radiation. The only concern is that they cannot take much wind--and act like large sails when the wind is over 10 or 12 mph. It's annoying to have to raise them any time a mild storm or higher than normal winds arrive.
