What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these outdoor shades for exceptional sun and heat blocking, with most noting patios become "much cooler" and glare significantly reduces. The cordless roller design with bungee tie-downs earns consistent praise for effortless operation and clean appearance. Installation takes under 30 minutes with minimal tools, and many customers report three to five years of reliable use without degradation. A few mention crank mechanisms feel tedious on longer installations or occasional component issues, but these represent isolated concerns. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend for outdoor comfort and durability.

Great roller shade!
Would RecommendI’m totaling enjoying my Coolaroo roller shade! It filters out the sun on the west side of my porch and has cooled down at least 50-60%.

Perfect product to block the sun.
Would RecommendI had to do something about the afternoon sun on my screened in porch. The heat made it unbearable, then I found this! I installed it myself in about 20 minutes, not to bad for a 72 year old woman. I can now reclaim my porch and enjoy the outdoors again! It also allows the breeze to flow through the material and I love how easy it is to raise and lower the shade.

Missing Parts
Would Not RecommendLowes sucks! They just let people buy things, take parts and return them. Then they tape up the box and sell it again no quality control. What an embarrassing company!!

Cost Effective Problem Solver
Would RecommendI purchased these sun shades in August and I had them installed 8/8/26 around my pergola to block the sun in my backyard. I don't have any trees. This was a cost effective solution that looks nice and does the job. I purchased the almond color. I am planning to install these shades around my deck and to put one on my front porch. Installation was easy. The shades are very easy to use. My only regret is that it too me too long to learn about this product. I would highly recommend these shades.

Basically transparent
Would Not RecommendThese are basically transparent. Barely any shade effect and zero privacy. The pictures on the packaging (and on this site are very misleading)
