What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these outdoor shades for exceptional sun and heat blocking while maintaining airflow and visibility. Most highlight how effectively they cool patios and porches, with many noting temperature reductions and comfortable outdoor living even during intense afternoon sun. Installation is consistently described as straightforward, typically completed in under an hour with two people. Reviewers commend the durable construction, bungee tie-downs for wind stability, and smooth crank mechanism. Customers frequently repurchase for additional areas, citing excellent value. A few report minor issues with crank reach on taller installations or occasional sagging, but these are isolated concerns.

Would Not RecommendWe bought the shades and just this week had them installed by our handyman. One of the rods was bent but with some minor adjustment works fine. I cannot give an excellent review of this item.

Looks great
Looks a lot better than one it replaced. Will take better care of this one: rolling up when rain coming;, secure for breeze protection (which is what ruined previous shade). Seems to be doing its job reducing heat, but still lets breeze thru. Do recommend 2 people for installation, especially for measurement accuracy - difficult to measure 6+' in a vertical position by 1 person.

Confusing product model offering
Fortunately your store salesperson had some product ct knowledge. That said, I bought 2 different widths in the same color fabric and ended up with two different style tie-downs. Who ever selects models and styles from manufacturers needs to do a better job to simplify selection and offering.
