Mold in less than a month
Would Not RecommendWe bought these to replace bamboo shades that had been up for 10 years and the cords were wearing out. In less than a month (installed June 1; today is June 27) there is green mold all over them. I got rid of my old ones - wish I had them back as these are so disappointing. They were not easy to put up as I had to take about the brackets several time to get them to hang properly on my porch without a huge gap and now I have to start cleaning them all the time? Good value, looks nice
Would RecommendLooks nice, good moderate light filtering in intense sun that still allows a bit of a view through, easy to install. I'm not impressed by the plastic "hardware" which I would expect to photodecompose in our hot dry climate, gradually crack or bend such that the shade falls out. But in the short run they are doing to job and given the relative fragility of bamboo (and any natural fiber) I wouldn't expect these to last forever anyway.

Unfortunately, the dimensions are not consistent.
Love the aesthetic and the way they work. Unfortunately, none of the dimensions are quite what they say. We bought 6 in 3 different widths. The blinds are all not quite as wide as they should be as the dimensions include the hardware at the ends, so they don't quite cover the window opening. One was shorter than the others. Since they were bought for a rental unit, we're making them work but probably would not have bought them had we known the actual dimensions.

Would RecommendLove these shades. Put up four on our new patio area. They really cozy up the place and provide great shade in our Texas heat! Installing is really a two person job but managed to do it by myself. Good quality.
