Mold in less than a month

We bought these to replace bamboo shades that had been up for 10 years and the cords were wearing out. In less than a month (installed June 1; today is June 27) there is green mold all over them. I got rid of my old ones - wish I had them back as these are so disappointing. They were not easy to put up as I had to take about the brackets several time to get them to hang properly on my porch without a huge gap and now I have to start cleaning them all the time? No thanks. If they aren't real...

Good value, looks nice

Looks nice, good moderate light filtering in intense sun that still allows a bit of a view through, easy to install. I'm not impressed by the plastic "hardware" which I would expect to photodecompose in our hot dry climate, gradually crack or bend such that the shade falls out. But in the short run they are doing to job and given the relative fragility of bamboo (and any natural fiber) I wouldn't expect these to last forever anyway.

Beautiful, Natural and Easily Operational

These blinds are beautiful! We are redoing our back porch and needed new blinds to filter the afternoon sun that beats down into the large windows of the house. The largest size fit between our three porch posts. The color we chose was the weathered grayish brown color. I thought I wanted the teak but it was sold out. Unfortunately, the dimensions are not consistent.

Love the aesthetic and the way they work. Unfortunately, none of the dimensions are quite what they say. We bought 6 in 3 different widths. The blinds are all not quite as wide as they should be as the dimensions include the hardware at the ends, so they don't quite cover the window opening. One was shorter than the others. Since they were bought for a rental unit, we're making them work but probably would not have bought them had we known the actual dimensions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we received this bamboo roller shade we immediately put it up on our deck. It blocks the sun so you can sit and enjoy the outside without having the sun in your eyes. The color is brown and the dimensions are 96’x72’. There is a small rod that you use to roll up and down and it is easy to use. It looks amazing on our deck. I highly recommend this shade.
