What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise these shades for effectively blocking sunlight and reducing heat on outdoor spaces, with many noting they're easy to install and look clean and modern. However, a substantial portion report serious mechanical failures, particularly with the tension mechanism that frequently fails or falls out, leaving shades unable to roll up automatically. Many describe the product as cheaply made, with plastic components warping in heat and fabric detaching under wind pressure. Despite durability concerns, some customers remain satisfied with the sun-blocking performance and affordable price point.

Would Not RecommendMy second set of shades. Disappointing after the 1st set lasted 12 years this last set came apart like a cheap suit after 2 years. Poor design of plastic support at the bottom of the shade warped in the heat a d formed a parachute that allowed the wind to rip off the fabric and deposit the whole mess into the road. This is both a defect in materials and design that should be covered under their limited lifetime warranty. Unfortunately that is not worth the paper it is printed on.

Clearance gem find.
Would RecommendThis was a gem of a find for the front porch. Paid $5 for it on clearance. Helps with the setting sun when it hits a specific angle. Wish it was larger but that’s about it.

Outdoor roll up porch shade
Would Not RecommendDo not buy this inferior product. The chintzy plastic brackets will stretch out with time(one summer) and the shade will fall out. We had to brace them with metal supports. Even now, every time the wind blows forcefully, the shade falls out. The plastic roll up rod breaks easily, so the shade can't be rolled up. Horrible product. Previously, similar shades were equipped with metal hooks that never failed. They also had string roll ups, that lasted YEARS longer than this product. Why did the des...

Good experience for beginners
Would RecommendLiked the installation, was easy and not time consuming. Recommend two people for installation. Didn’t like the instructions, save time if it read how much to measure for ideal function.
