Unlike other plumber's snakes

I really like the way this plumber's snake works. It is easier to handle that the others I have used.

right tool for the right job

This product worked well. It was much easier to handle than my old spring snake.

Works great!

Make sure you are getting the right tool for the right job. This works well on plumbing without a lot of curves and bends. I had trouble making right/angle turns The round spiral one works a little better.

Well designed drain unclogger

This product has an ingenious design that stores to tape. I is very easy to use, study and flexible enough to make it through elbows in your pipes.

product won't even make a turn in a 4" drain tile---useless!!!

Works but for how long?

Bought the Cobra sewer snake to clean out the dryer vent that goes through my foundation. It did the job. The plastic casing seems to be a little week for the rod. Not sure how many uses before it splits open. Otherwise I like it.

Next best thing to jetting

Had a blocked up main line sewer. Tried the old fashion spring tip snake with no success. Saw this and decided to give it a try. Worked like a champ, would highly recommend for hair, grease and the normal everyday clogs. Probably not going to work for root intrusion.

Great buy

We had a plumber come out and fix a backed up sewage line. Cost about $300 all total. I went to Lowe's to pick up a plastic sewer cap (so that the water flooding would push it off instead of back into our house). Guy there told me he used to work for city of Coppell and said I need to use this machine next time. I've had to use it three or four times since so it's paid for itself many times over.

Not to go through a multiple 90's

Bought an older home, that had been empty for a decade. had a main-line stoppage. Lifted only toilet in house and tried this. Couldn't get it through trap and another 90 down-line. Have done plumbing for years, so also bought a snake machine.

Does not work on 11/2 pipe tip does not flex on y

Tip will not flex on smaller pipe bends would be mutch better with spring tip.

Nice tool as it is easy to use, compact and easy to store.

Works great

Easy to use. Strong metal. Pushed clog out of main clean out no problem. Waaaayyyyyy cheaper than a plumber coming out with a power auger.

Before buying read carefully

Specifically states: Clears sewer outlets, stack vents and storm gutters. Note this is not for toilets, not for sinks or tubs. A lot of people are leaving negative comments about use of this product on other than the recommended uses. Bottom line for use on sewer outlets, stack vents, storm gutters the product works great. My only con is the plastic head, which is easily remedied by switching out the head.
