excellent device for unclogging drains

Had a drain clog that the snake couldnt clear. Followed the directions and this did the trick - no mess and no water spraying out the wrong way. 5 stars.

In my case it did not clear the clog. In talking with other professionals it depends on how bad the clog is.

My handyman and I used this and it worked great on the kitchen drain. He was in the crawl space and I feed the host through the vent. He was pushing it through the cleanout we were able to cleanout the entire drain pipe to the main drain trap. The only issue we had was the weather freezing rain.

Have a major blockage and it just blew apart within one minute of using it.

Clears Drains Fast!

My kitchen drain pipe combines with my laundry drain pipe before entering the main pipe out to the septic tank. This clogs periodically. Fantastic Product!

Had a kitchen sink clog so used a 50 foot snake to try to unclog the line, but it did not work and just pushed the clog 50 feet down the 2” PVC line. Rented a 100 foot power auger but it was not flexible enough to get around the 90 degree elbow so tried to find a more flexible 100 foot auger but none of the locally available snakes were flexible enough to get around the elbow. Does not work on toilet

slid in to toilet output hole, turned on water. Device never sealed, water only filled bowl, toilet still plugged.

Didn’t expand

I bought two of this size for a three inch drain. I thought the first was defective but neither expanded to seal the pipe.

Right tool if fits the criteria

Worked great. If you have a vent between the clog and where you insert bladder you have to block vent. If you can't block vent...it will push water up vent...which won't be good if it's one of those in a wall. My situation was the clog was after kitchen sink and before the clothes washer drain. A plumbing miracle!

After "somebody" put half of a watermelon (yes, including the rind) down the garbage disposal, the sink magically backed up. I went through the normal routine: plunger, then using the shop vac with a suction cup, then removing the P trap, then using the hand auger. I even rented a power auger. ABSOLUTE JUNK

Put in patio drain (3in PVC pipe) Turned on hose. In less than 10secs bladder burst and is now stuck inside pipe. Wish I could give it ZERO stars.

Didn’t swell or work

I tried to use it for a clog in a pool pipe but it didn’t swell up like I expected so it didn’t work.

Easy to use

Awesome product to use makes life easier and alot cheaper to do it yourself. But you must use the correct size Bladder for the size pipe that’s clogged or otherwise it’ll burst. Thanks for another great product

My last resort!

I spent two days trying to unclog my kitchen sink. I attempted every idea that I found on YouTube and asked two different Lowe's employee's. I was at my wit's end and was preparing to start looking for plumbers. I saw a video on this product and thought, "that makes sense". Purchased it and it worked on the second try. The second time, I didn't insert it in as far as the first. For whatever reason it immediately worked! I highly recommend this product.
