great caps but don’t like the material waste
The caps look great, work great and are of a very solid material. The only thing I do not like is that with my post size, I had to order the extra 4.5x4.5 converter, so you end up with two wasted size materials. too bad you can not order these caps just for your own size. installation was very easy.

Had these installed for about three weeks now. So far so good. Build quality appears significantly better than old plastic lamps it replaced. If they last more than a year, ill give them 5 stars

Could use more detailed instructions for use of adapter
I purchased the Imperial Solar Post Caps with a 4.5"x4.5" adapter, and I am very pleased with the purchase. The only reason I did not give a 5-star rating is that there is a lack of detailed instructions for dis-assembly and assembly - nothing on the web or Youtube - and throwing out two perfectly good metal pieces that aren't going to be used seems like a terrible waste.

These lights for our deck are perfect!
I started out only buying one at a time. I wasn’t sure if I could afford the expense for all of our posts. We get so many compliments and I love seeing them light up at night! I’m getting more to finish off the deck! We added the rope lights for added fun!

Great while they last
These post lamps are a great accent for my fence/ gate posts. However, they aren’t water proof and due to last year's excessive rain, the water didn’t fully drain and one of my original lamps went out. I ordered a couple of new ones as a replacement and plan on sealing the top of the housing priory to install. Installation is quick using the adapters.
