best of both worlds.

This is a quality built grill and is heavy duty. It is built better than other brands that I looked at and has a lower cost. Putting it together took a while but wasnt bad. The packaging was great and kept the grill safe during tranport.

Best grill I’ve had

This is a great grill. It is my second one and the first one lasted five years, I believe it would have lasted longer if I would have taken better care of it. I have had many other grills in the past and will only buy this one if available in the future.

Good bargain for a dual cooker.

This dual grill is perfect for me.

I've had this grill for 5 years now and It's still in great shape, built very well. If I ever upgrade to a larger one, it would be another Char Griller

The combination of charcoal/gas grill is great.

The grill came fairly quickly after ordering it online. The only problem or complaint that I have; is the self igniter does not work. Other than that small inconvenience, the grill is great.

My second E5030 like this combo very mucn

After many years my 5030 finally succumbed to burnout and rust, so did a fix/buy analysis and parts cost and my labor indicated buy a new one. I really like the 5030 which gives me the ability, particularly in the hottest part of the summer, to do everything outside. Grill the protein on the charcoal side and bake potatoes, roast vegetables simultaneously on the gas side. Easy to do just turn one burner on and bake/roast indirectly on the other side or on the warming rack. I did salvage things f...

Good, But one recurring problem. Rust out!

I have bought Two of these and I made sure I purchased the warranty. The inside lip rusted out within Two years on Both of these grills! The Lowes Service Plan replaced both grills. However, After writing a letter to the company with facts and photos, I was never contacted by the company about this problem. So if you want a grill that only has a Two year life, This is what you want. Don't forget to buy the Service plan, You'll need it!!

I would buy this again

This is a good grill. I have used both the gas and the charcoal sides. It was easy to assemble. The quality is good. I just wish the grates were better quality. I have never been a fan of porcelain coated greats. Over all this is a good grill.

Love the variety and overall good purchase.

Biggest issue is the paint will not hold. I only seasoned the grill and already seen where the paint started to peel so I went and bought aftermarket high temp paint to try to slow down the peeling and beginning of rust. I purchased a side fire box to use this as a smoker also and it also can't take the heat. I heated it 350 degrees as the instructions say to season the grill. Had a separate grill/oven thermometer cause one that came with the grill was broken when I bought it.

My First & Favorite!

I absolutely love this grill! My wife bought it as a gift for my first Father's Day and I can already see the memories to be had with this grill. It was so simple to put together. Glad to have dual options for grilling!

This took two of us a long time to put it together. The parts were all nicely packed in a huge heavy box that had a couple of holes punched through (unknown if it was warehouse or shipper caused). Most of the parts inside were ok, save the side table which was crushed/bent (hubby does auto body work, so was able to get it back in shape).
