like it for the most part, lacking quality

The quality is really lacking, poor welds, poor wheels, unstable side shelf when moving, spend another 50 cents and include flat washers and better welds to help a little stability to connection joints for ease in moving. I do like how quickly it heats up and cools down. Raise the price and add a little quality! That being said this is my 3rd one of same model. Sad to say will be my last. I grill at least 100 days a year.

Had to return

I have not been able to use this grill. The first was returned due to broken grates, a dented lid, and warped bottom. The replacement is also being returned because the bottom is also warped and does not allow the grates to sit right. I just got unfortunate with poor build quality.

Great grill

This is our second one. Great grill. The last one lasted 6 years being covered outside. Great value for the price. Even heat, side burner works great. We put a cast smoker box in and get awesome smoke flavor.

Can’t be there for the money

First off, I'm 55 and have been grilling and smoking meats for over 35 years. I have owned a plethora of various grills and smokers in that time. I purchased my original CharGriller Pro 3001 2010 and used it multiple times a week for about 10 years. Sadly, after replacing the burner covers, after a year with stainless steel ones, and 3 igniters in the 10 years of ownership, the grill started to show it's age, which was about 3 times as long as any other gas grills I've ever owned. I assembled the grill without any issues and have been impressed by the sturdiness. I look forward to using this grill for a very lo time.

We would buy this again

We use this grill all the time,for grilling,smoking,it does it all.Plenty of room for a lot of food,if you're having a party,this is the grill for you,we had our last Chargriller 3001 for 8 years,new one is just as great!

Best Grill I've ever owned.

I've owned this grill since 2017. I'm just now needing to look for replacement parts, tubes and tents. I haven't really taken great care of this grill either, It's out in the elements from April to Oct. with no cover. I clean it now and then to prevent fires but overall very low maintenance. Before this I don't think I have even owned a grill that has lasted 4 years. This thing is well built.

I keep buying them!

I've had many grills in the past and they all seem to last 2-3 years max, then they are rust buckets. I started buying one of these every 2 or 3 years due to the reasonable price and knowing how long they last. I used to buy the dual charcoal/gas so I would have extra parts and try to squeez another year out of it but that's a hassle. bottom line there isn't a grill I have found that last longer and I have always had mine under patio roof and use it year round my meals always taste great. Bottom line for the money you can't be a good luck finding it people are starting to catch on better quality than anything else sold in the box stores

Finally a year after owning it review.

So I've had this grill for a year now. I do have to say it was easy to set up and I was able to grill in no time. For the price it works well. Some cons that I have noticed are as follows: -This grill gets hot there is no in between it just gets hot, even if you set it to low. You're either hovering around 550 or super low, no in between. -make sure you get a cover for the grill. Good grill for the cost

I really like this grill. It has consistent heat, few hot spots and easy to move around. The material seems sturdy but the legs and wheels are a bit rickety. The assembly was pretty straightforward and we had it together in around an hour and a half. There are a few reasons I am not rating it 5 stars. 1. I would not buy this grill again

This grill is very easy to use and does a wonderful job at cooking. The material it is made of makes it very prone to rust and after only 3 years it has completely rusted out. The ignitor stopped working after the first year. The grilling surface rusted through the porcelain finish in 2 years. Meats are flavorful when slow grilled on the primary grates, while vegetable are superior on the upper level.

This is our 2nd Char-Griller and we love it. In my opinion an for the money, this is the best grill out there!

Love my new grill

Love the grill, bought it to replace a 20 year old Char Broil, really wanted a large area warming rack which very few producers make anymore . The best thing is the large warming rack, would buy again or refer friends

Great Grill Perfect for one person or small family

First of all, one of the first directions was to have 2 people for assembly! Impossible otherwise! The grill was pretty easy to assemble AFTER getting the leg portions assembled! Most might find that simple, but I am mentally challenged when it comes to those diagrams! I've used it every day since I got it and I am extremely pleased with it. Will definitely be buying replacement parts to have on hand when things get worn out or rusted.
