Would Not RecommendThe set screw stripped using the supplied allen wrench the first time I tried too use it. I went to Lowes to return it since it has a lifetime warranty. It does have a lifetime warranty but not at Lowes. You have to mail it to Channellock and pay for the postage! And then THEY will determine if it's covered by the warranty or not. In the end, I had to run out to HF and buy a cheap Chinese tool to do the job. The very thing I was trying to avoid by buying a USA made tool. I'll never buy another C...

Multiple Tips for Snap Ring Sizes
Multiple tip sizes was the reason for purchase. I had a pair of snap ring pliers but the only had one permanent type size and it was too large for the snap ring I was trying to remove. These pliers are expensive but they included the tip size I needed and worked well.

Would RecommendNeeded a new pair of snap ring pliers that could handle heavier gauge rings and these were up to the task. My previous set would flex and did not have enough range to remove the snap ring. Upgraded to the Channellock snap ring pliers and handled the job easily. I appreciate the length which allows to fit in tight spaces and the variety of tips provided with the pliers.
