Ratings & Reviews for CertainTeed Landmark Weathered Wood Algae Resistant Architectural Roof Shingles ( 33.33-sq ft per Bundle )

Landmark - Updated Labeling/Packaging for Class 3

We love Landmark. It's a great product and we feel confident our customers are getting a superior roof. My only complaint is that both the packaging and the shingles do not reflect the UL2218 Class 3 markings. I have the Certainteed letter stating that products installed in 2024-current are class 3 but I have been getting a lot of push back from homeowners and especially their insurance companies because the shingles to not bear the correct labeling. Landmark

We have used Landmark on many projects over the years.

A rose by any other name...

Just wish you had better descriptions of your "charcoal" and "moire" blacks. Confusing to say the least. Other than that, our material of choice for over 35 years now!

Class 3 King

Best Class 3 shingle on the market. I wouldn't sell anything else, every bundle has information on them to help answer any install questions if needed.

Best products and warranty available!

Love the ease of installation with the new "nail here" strip. No need to stand over the crew to remind them where to place the nails anymore. Also, combined with the Winter Guard underlayment we can offer the 5-Star Warranty and this has sold many jobs for us.

Gotta Love Certainteed!

We absolutely love Certainteed! it is our preferred shingle both for quality and performance. They offer wide selections standing above the crowd allowing the customers to choose exactly what they are looking for in their project.

Landmark

I like this product and now that its Class 3, they are selling really well. The product seams to be getting thinner.

CertainTeed Landmark shingles are a solid choice—durable, great warranty, and offer good curb appeal. We’ve installed them on many homes with excellent results.

Durability meets Beauty

Landmark shingles offer excellent durability with beautiful colors to match any siding, brick or stone on the exterior of your home.

Quality Product

Love the quality of these shingles, and the color choices are great. Shingles were packed nicely and separated easily throughout the installation process. Nailing area easily established and visible. Sealed tightly together once the sun warmed them up, and the adhesion between the starters and the first run is phenomenal. Topping them off with ShadowRidge was the finishing touch. Quality product, would definitely recommend.

CertainTeed Shingles – 10-Year Installer Review

We’ve been installing CertainTeed shingles for over a decade and continue to stand by their quality and performance. Their Landmark series in particular offers outstanding durability, consistent manufacturing, and strong curb appeal that homeowners love. The dual-layer design and wide color selection make it easy to deliver a finished product that’s both reliable and visually impressive. From an installer’s standpoint, the shingles lay flat, seal well, and resist tearing even in colder weather,...
