White Film on Glasses

This product does a good job cleaning my dishes but it has caused a white fill to appear on my new set of glasses. I've tried everything to remove this white film but it won't come off and it makes the glasses look dirty. Any tips on how to remove this white film and what may be causing this?

Convenient

Love these dishwasher pods and brand. My dishes always come out clean no matter how bad the stains are. So convenient and mess free in pod form. Expensive but worth it to only have to run the dishwasher one time and not even having to rinse them before hand

Your food/drink will TASTE LIKE SOAP

This product is amazing at cleaning dishes. BUT… if yoyr dish is not glass, ceramic, or metal, it will leave an ENORMOUS soap build up on your dishware that comes through in the taste of liquid or food you put in the dishware! My coffee put in plastic cups, of soups stirred with plastic utensils tasted SOMUCH LIKE SOAP that i could not eat/drink the food or beverage.

Make the Plattinum Plus container Recyclable!!!!!

It is CRAZY that the platinum plus tubs are made from #5 plastic but cannot be recycled due to the metalic label. This was flagged a year ago on this forum. So for marketing reasons, this has to go to the landfill. Will not be purchasing again.

Leaves strong taste on dishes

Im a big fan of cascade products in general whoever the ultimate leaves a strong taste on the dishes. Not sure if this has been an issue for others but not willing to try again. Although the dishes did clean very well

No need to scrub!

The only dishwasher product I use! Plates don’t have to be rinsed before however I do because that’s just how I am lol. Plates are super fresh every time, I’ve never once found and stains on any plates and have been using them for years!!

It's worth the money

I am a dishwasher nerd. I definitely will be purchasing these regularly! I was able to get this sample of the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs from P&G! One wash , without rinsing my dishes prior, and it gets everything! It also doesn’t leave my dishes cloudy! 💚

Why Intentionally Make a Non-Recyclable Tub?

The product is great, cleans not just the normal debris & grease, but also after a few washings cleaned the tarnish of my copper bottom Revere Ware pots, coffee/tea stains out of my white mugs, and years of yellowing & discoloration off my oldest stoneware plates & bowls. Is that Drakkar Noir scented? Diagusting

Works fantastic but that perfume is disgusting. Now all of my silicone spatulas and cooking implements are permanently scented & impart a flavor into my food. I'm about to throw out several expensive OXO spatulas & Joie egg cookers for this reason. That can't be safe. What's wrong with clean? Can we get some unscented products please? Took all the stars away I could for ruining my silicone collection.

Fresh Scent

Who hand washes dishes these days. With a busy schedule I’m always on the go. I have to cut corners some times. With cascade platinum plus, I’m able to give this duty to my dishwasher.

Very disappointed

No, no, no! I have seen the commercials and I do not buy “off brands” . My husband hardly ever pre-rinses the dishes so I wanted something that would clean my dishes so I can quit arguing with him. EVERY LOAD 2-4 dishes will come out with some kind of food on it, or a greasy film. We remodeled 2 years ago and our GE appliances are brand new. And yes, before you ask, I have cleaned out the drain basket, use hot settings, know how to load a dishwasher…..

Very effective

These dishwashing tablets work so well. I usually fill up the dishwasher to the max capacity and it doesn’t have an issue Getting everything clean. I just wish it had cleaner ingredients but maybe it wouldn’t be as effective that way. Who knows
