Would Not RecommendThe mounting breacket stick way out on the side of the box. You only have enough room to mount these boxes with a 1/4" projection from studs. I had to cut off the mounting flanges and use a screw through the sides of the boxes to mount them.

Would RecommendGrabbed one of these for a DIY project where we used 12vdc signals on CAT cable through normal wall switches to turn on and off lights elsewhere. This box was durable, easy to install, face mounting was easy as can be, and it looked great when completed. great bargain buy for DIY.
