What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this electrical box for its straightforward installation and robust construction. Most highlight how simple the setup is, with no need to locate studs behind drywall, and appreciate the ability to screw directly into framing on metal studs or I-beam joists. Reviewers consistently describe the box as sturdy, durable, and stronger than standard plastic alternatives, with a thick flange and reinforced structure ideal for high-stress applications. The thoughtful design features—removable access holes, drywall depth indicator, and secure wire clamps—earn professional-grade recognition. A few mention minor concerns about tabs or flimsy areas, though nearly all users conclude the product exceeds expectations.

Electrical box
Would RecommendI liked this product became it just didn’t have nailed to secure it to a stud. This had the option to use screws and better secure it to the stud.

Use These to Mount to Engineered I-Beam Joists
Would RecommendI use these to mount boxes to engineered I-beam joists because the nail-in ones won't actually work and you really should pre-drill and screw from the bottom or top, not the sides of the I-beam top/bottom as it's also a layered wood.

Would RecommendGreat boxes and easy to use! If you cut your hole right they fit perfect!
Easy install
Would RecommendThese are great for installing for switches or outlets where it’s easier to secure it to the front of the 2x rather than the side with nails.
Tight location box
I got a couple of these boxes for locations that nail-boxes wouldn’t fit. Worked as they should.
Electrical box
Would RecommendNo problems. Box is sturdy. Held all the wires in place as needed.
Worked great
Would RecommendWorked great and was easy to. Secured well to the drywall
Nice box, but does have some flaws
Would RecommendOverall, I think this is a good box. I did have a little bit of an issue with the tab on the stud and how my drywall patch went over it, but it was nice and handy to install anyways. I also had to trim off the back tab just a little bit because it made it so the box didn't sit flush. But after all of that, I'm happy with it and would purchase it again.
it cost's a little more than most plastic boxes
this is a good sturdy product that is easy to use. it is heavier than most plastic boxes
Sturdy box
Would RecommendWorked as it should. Nice sturdy construction. Flange is thick so should be recessed in stud.
