Would RecommendThis box fits all thickness of wall. Mine was 5/8. It did not rotate as I tightened it. It seems more flush to the wall with its 2 point contact than the studounted boxes were. I just traced it on the wall (minus the tabs) and it slid right in and mounted well. Then I was able to push fish tape through the port to pull my wires back in.
