Great Product!

Recently purchased this all-in-one and it exceeded my expectations. Was such an easy setup, and was quickly able to begin testing all it's capable of, including my first printed glossy photo, which came out beautifully! I am proud of this purchase.

TR8620a

The TR8620a is working fine. My issue is with the Cannon website. It is difficult to navigate and find what you need. Getting my printer registered was much more difficult than it should be.

Material used seems cheap.

The material used does not looks durable. I got a cannon fax/printer 6 years ago and it was more durable.

Great printer!

Great printer. Easy setup. Photos look great. Easy to use. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the printer has no standby mode. When it is off, one cannot start a print job without walking all the way to the printer and turning it on. The previous PIXMA I had would turn itself on. Saved me a lot of trips upstairs.

Great replacement for my Pixma 922. A bit smaller in size and more light weight.

Hate this printer

I have had cannon printers for 20 yeas and loved them. I bought a new lap top and it would not work with my Pixma mx420 which I loved. I bought theTR8620a printer about 6 months ago. It keeps getting off line, paper jams, The ink cartridges are always empty and ecpensive. jams, it keeps stopping bevausr the ink level is low

Horrible scanner / scanner utility

I've had this printer for a few months. Printing is just fine. But I hate scanning. I don't like using the teeny screen that's on the printer. Clicking on the printer's icon on my display brings up a window with all the options grayed out. Another time it wasn't but it asked more questions than are necessary compared to my last one, the TS6020, You can't name the scan. You can't tell it where it's to go. You can't put something on the plate, have its scan light go on and take its picture when ...

Not the Usual Canon Quality

I've had a Canon Pixma 640 for years and have been extremely pleased with it. However, I recently bought a new laptop without realizing that the Canon 640 was not compatible with it. So I purchased a compatible Canon printer - Pixma TR8620a. It's design and operation is different from the 640, and frankly, I find the new printer to be less user friendly as well as comparatively flimsy and cheap in construction. It would be much too easy to snap off a tray. I would not buy the Pixma TR8620a aga...

Function of PixmaTR8620a

So far the printer is performing as I expected. I don’t like the messages that something isn’t quite ready and I have to open or close or manipulate something before I can get at the printing.

Not good not enough not the way to go

Ok! Don't do it......very awkward with using the screen to flip up to operate!!

pix may tr8620a disappointing.

you have to turn the printing on order to print which is inconvenient. It turns off automatically quickly so you have to get up snd turn it back on the print later. the ink runs out very quickly and is costly. photo quality decent which is why i gave two rather than one star

great in one printer

one of the printers now 2 years old ink smudges on the corners a deep black pool on the inside

Fast and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canon PIXMA TR8620a printer and copier is really easy to set and use. It only has a power cord and works wirelessly with your internet. I then was able to set up my laptops and phones to the printer by going to a website and app to link them. The printer uses multiple cartridges and prints a quick, nice and clear page. There is also the option to make copies as well as other features. I have been very impressed with the printer.

It is quiet and very quick while printing. I love that the touch screen is very big and easy to see/press the buttons when needed. The print quality is amazing. We have been using it every day for other a month and still have barely made a dent in the ink.

Amazing product

The printer has many great qualities that I cannot find any problems with it. Setup was a breeze using the app on a smartphone. The device can scan, copy, print, and fax. The printing is fast and double side printing available.

does everything you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a fine job printing - nothing super special. It is a bit bulky but not a big deal in my home office. Speed is up there, but you would expect it from a printer at this price point. All in all, this printer does exactly what you need it to do. Haven't had too many issues with jamming. Only concern is when i have to replace the ink cartridge... will cost me fortune.
