Best set of cookware I have ever owned!

These are the best pots and pans I have ever owned! I was a cook in my younger years in some of the finer restaurants in Lake Tahoe and Seattle. I have owned the Calphalon anodized aluminum as well as a three layer stainless set from their competitor. I have no real complaints about those sets but this stackable set is my favorite. The cookware is exceptional. You can feel the quality when you pick them up. When cooking the heat is even throughout the cookware and the pot or pan get really hot. The handles are cool allowing you to pick the pan up. I anticipate having this cookware for a long time.

Excellent quality for the price!

These are heavy duty, high quality kitchen staples. I love that the handles are made of the same sturdy material that rest rest of the pans are made of. Also appreciate that the handles on the lids are not on top of the lid, but rather a long handle on the side, like the handles on the pans themselves. The price point is amazing for the high craftmanship of this set. Can wait to order for to add to the set and build onto the collection!

So disappointed

I bought the set last week and could barely count the days till it arrived. Let me start by saying my hubby is a chef and I’m an established cook. We know how to treat a pan properly and all the do’s and donts. The two stars I did give is for the sleek design and great stacking. Period. End there. After the first use these pots get terrible staining. All I made was chicken soup! And it discolored the steel. Hard boiled eggs discolored the other! Seems to get spots simply from water. Discoloration after second use!

They look and feel great but after one use I got discoloration like I have never seen in a new pan. I learned my lesson, and apparently with these pans you should wait on adding the salt after the water boils. Even after that, on the second use I had worse discoloration. I found a cleaner that did the trick to clean it well after the first time but it's abrasive. So every time I cook with these I have to get this horrible discoloration? Don't waste your time with this set.

Good Cookware

We bought these about 3 months ago. Great look and solid design. I didn't give 5 stars because everything does stick to the pans. We've tried oil, butter, non-stick spray, you name it...the food still sticks. Except water.

Really Learning How to Cook with this set!

I am really learning how to cook with my Calphalon set! I have owned a stainless steel set by Cuisinar before, and this by far is better. My food cooks much more evenly...the pots just feel better in hand because of the exceptional weight distribution. I don't have to have the heat as high when I cook. Caphalon Stainless Pans SUCK!!!

We hate these pans! Butter/Oil doesn’t matter. Everything sticks! We want to exchange for Anodized non-stick. Waste of money! Do Not Buy These!!!

I got this cookware set this month, I have never owned stainless steel ones and I was very nervous about that. I love that you really can stack them in any order & achieve the same space saving results. Another great unique feature is the flat top lids that also stack with the pots & pans. Last Pots and Pans I will ever need!!
