DOA Refrigerator

Lowe's delivered this refrigerator with the incorrect handles and didn't ensure it was working before leaving. I now have a refrigerator installed with no handles and a does nothing but light up. It was dead on arrival with no quality control prior to delivery. Lowe's suggested that we schedule a GE technician to repair the fridge. Installation

The installation crew were outstanding. Best crew we've ever had in our home. The fridge was wrapped better than anything we've ever had delivered before. Very pleased.

Left Door Will Not Stay Open

This refrigerator was delivered and installed but the left side door will not stay open on its own from the very beginning. We finally got around to calling Lowes installation team to fix it and they would not come out because we didn't call them within 30 days (we have been managing a renovation so we are just now resolving these minor issues).

Really nice fridge

This fridge is amazing, and looks great. Fits the space perfectly, and huge interior. The middle refrigerated drawer is so convenient. I really like the water pitcher dispenser and auto-refill. We didn't put any magnets on because it looks so nice.

Very excited about the sleek look of this fridge! Wish the ice maker worked faster, but overall happy with the fridge!

Buyer Beware, GE will not stand behind product

Received defective product, the box has a dip in it which caused air to get into the freezer and create ice and frost all over the rails and food. I called this in during the GE warranty, but the technicians couldn't figure out the problem. They replaced parts, more parts, the entire freezer drawer, seals, etc. It took 8 months and 6 visits and their TAG team to figure it out. I bought this during a buy more save more promotion. Within the warranty period the freezer was full of ice and frost. It took GE technicians 6 visits and 8 months to determine it was a defective box and could not be repaired. They took so long that it is no longer under warranty and even though it was reported during warranty they will not replace it. Love My Cafe Refrigerator

Installed the new CGE29DP2TDS1 Cafe Refrigerator today. It is beautiful and only took about 4 hrs to get the freezer down to 10 degrees. The interior is amazing and holds a lot. The lighted back wall really brightens the fridge shelves and makes it look so nice. My wife also loved the middle drawer and the flexibility with the temperature control. Also love the freezer compartment and layout with the sliding low profile drawer for pizza, pie crusts and flat items. Lots of room and designed!!

Quality Control

Would have given it five stars, however, there is a flaw in the bottom glass shelf. Waiting on service tech to replace it. Service tech waiting on part.

Love this fridge - one drawback...

We love our new Cafe Refrigerator - Tons of space in the door bins which is so helpful...we use the middle drawer a lot and love how you can change the configuration with the glass dividers. Only drawback is when putting the water pitcher back, the fridge usually throws an error - we have to take the pitcher out and put it back in again and that seems to fix it.
