Extremely poor design

Do not buy this refrigerator!! We have had 2 service calls in 2 months of ownership for the ice maker. Used the hot water feature once and it leaked all over the kitchen for a week. Far worse, the icemaker relies on a chintzy plastic handle that is not strong or well attached enough to open the door to the icemaker. The ice gets stuck at the top of the bin, the handle flies off and across the kitchen, and I get a knife and pry the door open. We asked if we could return it and were told 'no' aft...

Great Repair Job

After preparing the refrigerator, Kcup, motor noise, and low water stream dispenser, the refrigerator is working as designed.

I would consider another frig.

The refrigerator prior to walk through and after settlement is malfunctioning. There seems to be part near or at the broken motor or condenser, which, when the refrigerator is running, it's very loud. The K-cup is not working, and the water dispenser is barley operating.

Going on six years

I thought it would be good to share a review from someone who has had this since November 2018. We were attracted to it for all the bells and whistles and the Keurig. Love This Except For One (Small) Problem

This is the first refrigerator I've ever owned that has gone for more than one year without a broken ice maker so I'm quite happy with it. I've had zero problems with this refrigerator's mechanics and it looks lovely outside and in. There are abundant offerings for shelf spacing, even in the freezer. Good idea poor execution

The first day we had the fridge the water system leaked. GE came to fix it and now the Keurig brewer and the hot water don’t work.

Beautiful fridge!

I love every feature of the fridge. My only concern is that the Keurig dispenser does not allow for a reusable k cup. I have tried several reusable k cups with no success. GE can do better for the environment. How hard would it be to create a dispenser that allows for a reusable k cup. Just looking out for the environment and to reduce my carbon footprint.

Great refrigerator but could be improved!

Overall, I love this refrigerator. It works and looks great! With that being said, there are some features that could use improvement. I wish the ice maker was a little bigger and/or have a quicker recovery time. Having the built in Keurig is great. It does take a while to heat up but I've learned to plan ahead and work on something else while it heats up. I will sometimes use the app to start heating while I'm away from the kitchen. We just got our Cafe fridge today and I must say, Holy WOW!! This thing is absolutely beautiful. Sleek design, great features and my favorite part, the keurig right on the front door next to the water dispenser. 6 months old and hasnt worked for 4 weeks

Our refrigerator stopped working. Set up a service appointment. Had to wait 4 days, a part had to be ordered. Took another week for the part to come in. Service person replaced the part and left without even making sure it was working. Had to schedule another service appointment to confirm the compressor is shot. Still dont have a working refrigerator.

Great fridge overall

Great fridge supper premium and excellent design only complaint I have is the hot water takes a little bit to heat up and the fridge can be a bit difficult to clean however everything is accessible just a little hard to figure out how to.

Do Not Buy!

1 week after the 1 yr warranty ran out the fridge died. We fixed it but was warned if the fix didn’t hold, it was the compressor. Now 6 months later the fridge has stopped again. The cost to repair a 2 year fridge… supposed top of the line fridge isn’t worth it. Did I mention I now need to have my cafe line gas stove fixed after 2 years as well! Absolutely unreliable!

I really ilkie the convenience of making a cup of coffee with the push of a button. Plenty of storage space!

Cafe Kitchen Appliances Package

I love my new Cafe French door refrigerator with the Keurig coffee brewer. I also purchased the matching gas range, over the range microwave oven, and the dishwasher. I bought the stainless steel and have to constantly wipe off water spills and finger prints. I wish I could have chosen a stainless steel finish with finger print resistant finish, but it wasn't available.

JUNK!!

Problems from day one, Kurig leaked and had several service calls and I finally had to bypass the system in the 2nd year. Drawer parts are breaking off and chrome strips on shelves are peeling and bubbling. Recently the TouchPad display quit working and because you HAVE to change the filter every 6 months with a very expensive filter with a computer chip, woth the touch pad not working, we can not bypass or reset the filter and it locks out the water and ice dispenser and renders them unusable.

Everlasting Gobstopper Machine

The noise that this refrigerator makes reminds me of the Willy Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper Machine, loud and chaotic. As compared to my previous refrigerator, this one is somehow both larger on the outside and smaller on the inside. I live in dry Southern California yet there is still significant condensation and ice build up in the freezer.
