Another piece of GE Cafe Garbage

DO NOT PURCHASE!! Spring on door broke just after the warranty expired. Only use about once per week. Granted it does perform well, but it's clearly built with substandard, cheap parts like the rest of their line. I remodeled my entire kitchen with Cafe, everything is failing including my advantium door (internal microwave seal failed after a week and they decided they would do nothing) and Cooktop. STAY AWAY FROM GE CAFE!

This dishwasher is as quiet as a whisper. We also enjoy the lighted interior and it cleans dishes very well!

Dishwasher leaks and will damage your cabinets

I bought the top of the line dishwasher thinking it would be of good quality and look for my brand new kitchen. It's now 8 months later and i have to repair my brand new cabinets because the seal won't hold in the steam and water. Brandsmart has already been out to replace the seal and it is still leaking and causing more damage. This is unacceptable for the price we paid for this dishwasher. Stay away and buy something cheaper, it's not worth the money.

Not too clean pre installation

A brand new dishwasher smelled funky when we first opened it to install. After removing the packaging material inside, we noticed that the tub was dirty. The filter was disgustingly dingy. We are installing it anyway and seeing what happens. I will write a review if it still works in three months.

First one leaked; design suggestions

Our first dishwasher developed a leak after 2 months of use. I hope this second one is leak-free; if not it will be our last Cafe. It does an excellent and quiet job of washing. It did break one of our glasses, so use caution when loading. The store did not offer installation at my location, so I had to install both of these, and am not a fan of: 1.) the drain hose, which required that a second length be attached, so the joint is behind my dishwasher in my case and not easy to access if it leaks...

LEAKS!

Beware of leaks! It ruined our floor and can’t get the leaking to stop. We’ve replaced the inner door and the gasket with no luck!

Extremely disappointed in this dishwasher

I've had this dishwasher for 5 years, and it has been the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I have given it 2 stars instead of 1 because it looks so stylish, but that is about the only thing that they got right. It requires more attention - cleaning filters weekly - than any other dishwasher that I have owned (4). It cleaned well for about a month, and then it never cleaned or dried well after that. Clean and quiet

So far so good! The dishes come out clean and it is exceptionally quiet. The drying feature works great and the third row is convenient. We have it hooked up to WiFi and the app is useful.

Just had installed and in love so far! The lightening and design is perfect. Super quiet, feels solid. Such an upgrade. Looking forward to learning all its features and hope it holds up!

Café Dishwasher

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned! No matter if I put a couple dishes in or a full load, I have to rewash the dishes by hand. I feel Café Appliances has absolutely ripped me off. We have had service call after service call on our appliances and that’s about a joke as well. Absolutely biggest waste of money. And of course they kept sending service people out now the warranty is up. I will never again purchase Café Appliances.

Great dishwasher!

We have had our Cafe dishwasher for about 6 months. We absolutely love it. Both the cleaning and the drying are top tier. In short, the unit performs like a dishwasher should perform.

Works great!

This dishwasher works great! The old one has over time proven to be lesser and we chose to upgrade and are glad that we did!
