I love it! It's the best toaster I've had. Every one should have a their products in their kitchen, office etc.

Fire hazard

This toaster looks great, and matches nicely with the cafe coffee maker. It also almost burned our house down when it shorted out and burst into flames. Luckily my wife had the unit pulled out from under the cabinets or they would have been scorched in the process. I would strongly reconsider purchasing this toaster, even more so if you have small kids that make their own toast. To be clear, this wasn't because of crumbs or operator error. Everything expected it to be from GE Cafe

Amazingly stylish but works better than it looks. It matches all the other stainless Cafe items in our kitchen. The price is very good considering some of the other Cafe items but we like to have and use the best.

Poor Quality

The Cafe series is considered "high end." The induction stove is wonderful but this toaster is cheaply made, with plastic buttons and the bronze is polished, not brushed.

Not the highest quality - all knobs are plastic and finish is more polished than brushed copper. I expected more.

Perfect for my kitchen

Pretty, classy and works well. I got this to match my Cafe coffee maker and now my kitchen counter looks even better. :) Will order the Cafe countertop oven next.

Multiple toasting options!

It’s a toaster! Finding a good toaster in today’s world of junk for anything is a task! This is the first one we’ve owned for the last 30 years, that works like a toaster should! It makes consistent toasting fairly even, most of the time! I only gave it 4 stars, because it often doesn’t want to push down and lock in to start toasting! It’s made of quality materials and heavy like real toasters used to be, so good job GE! We like this toaster a lot!

Pretty but ineffective

This toaster is frustrating. We have 2 of them, as we have kids, and even at the same setting, the bread doesn’t toast evenly. It also doesn’t toast evenly between uses. Even though this still “works” I am looking for a replacement. We purchased after purchasing the Cafe stove and microwave, both of which are fantastic.

The toast is not toasted evenly. Regular toast setting does seem to work that well. Neither does frozen setting. The finish setting works good but again toast is not evenly toasted. Frustrating for price of toaster.
