Beautiful Toaster - Limited Lifetime
Would Not RecommendWell, it made it through the warranty period before calling it quits. The toaster that it replaced cost a fraction of this one but doesn't have the copper colored accents that go with our Cafe induction range, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. That low budget toaster is still performing like a champ. Unless you have money to throw away on the most expensive toaster you'll ever own, I don't recommend it. I'm disappointed GE would put its premium Cafe name on something this unreliable.

Fire hazard
Would Not RecommendThis toaster looks great, and matches nicely with the cafe coffee maker. It also almost burned our house down when it shorted out and burst into flames. Luckily my wife had the unit pulled out from under the cabinets or they would have been scorched in the process. I would strongly reconsider purchasing this toaster, even more so if you have small kids that make their own toast. To be clear, this wasn't because of crumbs or operator error.
