I wish I would have read other reviews before I purchased this model. This model is taller and does NOT fit under an average kitchen cabinet. Also, makes a watery mess every time I open the compartment to add coffee grinds which leaks onto my countertop. Water Reservoir failure

Purchased through Cafe 2 plus years ago. The water reservoir discharges water over the counter. This happened a few times early on. I attributed it to the way I seated the full container back on the maker after filling. But no matter what I do, it would occasionally discharge. I chalked it up to user error. This week it emptied water over the counter 3 times. The gasket was replaced after the first failure. Hence, I am reduced to adding little water each time a cup of coffee is made or not use...

Not going back to pods!

I have been using this GE Cafe grind and brew coffee maker for over one month now. It’s got a designer appearance (bought the SS). I wanted to get away from using a coffee maker that uses pods due to environmental reasons and I wanted better tasting coffee. This coffee maker accomplishes both. Perfect coffee!

Loving the machine, seems sturdy enough to work for years. The only gripe I had was the silly flimsy plastic guides for the carafe top - instead of a solid button, it has tiny u-shapes that broke the first day, fell into the carafe and ended up in my mouth. It was cheerfully replaced by the company & received right away, so no harm done, but it's a design flaw that could result in someone swallowing the plastic pieces. Beef up that vital area & I would rate the entire unit 5 stars!

Great coffee maker, but cleaning is a chore!

The design of this appliance is pretty stunning and gets great compliments from visitors to our home. It makes great coffee and using the app to start the coffee maker from bed is a godsend on most days. Best Coffeemaker owned in 40 years!

Best coffeemaker I have ever owned! Love the carbon filters and ease of replacement. I use only Zero Fiktered water ( no dissolved solids). The app makes things so easy!! I usually set at 4 or 6 cups ( set as favorites). The only thing is if your kitchen is cold the carafe is cold and has a cooling effect on coffee temp. Love the look and function of the Grind and Brew .... the included brush remedies any issue ... as it does get clogged at times when grinding .... Wish I could create a stronger coffee .... but got past that by adding a scoop of pre ground beans in the basket previous to brewing ....

Poorest excuse for a coffee maker and worst for CS

This product has been nothing but trouble since the day we got it. The machine worked fine for a few months then began to stop grinding the beans. It was replaced with a new one and that one would force you to restart it multiple times in order to brew a pot of coffee. When calling in for help we were run around in a circle for 3 different phone calls until ultimately I was told that they just couldn't do anything to help me. The support person was extremely rude and of course hung up on me ...

Love this coffee maker!

I’ve had this machine for over a year now and it’s doing just fine! No mechanical issues whatsoever. The carafe doesn’t keep smaller amounts of coffee warm for very long. We rarely make a full pot. We usually use the Gold or Bold brew strength setting. They both brew delicious coffee. The design is beautiful and has held up nicely. We don’t put any of the parts in the dishwasher. Also, I was able to find filters on a third party site that work for this machine when this website was sold out.

Cheap plastic and it makes a mess too

Not at all the quality I would expect from something with the Cafe logo. Grinder spews coffee grounds everywhere. Including in the pot. Made of plastic so cheap it can’t be put in the dishwasher. So you have to take the entire thing apart and wash by hand. And there are lots of parts. Brand new. Received as a gift. GE will not honor warranty unless I have a receipt, which I do not as it was a gift. Run the other direction. It’s complete garbage.

If the problem is fixable I'm keeping it.

It makes a great cup of coffee but the water container is leaking and if we can't fix that we can't keep it.

Great feautures, GREAT COFFEE!

Not only does this coffee maker look great but it actually makes GREAT coffee too! It is quiet, it has the right capacity that is easily viewed, it is easy to clean and prepare for the next brewing cycle, and it made of quality materials. My wife and I love this brewer!!

Constantly leaks

This is the worst coffee maker I have owned. Having all cafe brand appliances, I wanted a matching coffee maker. It constantly leaks all over the counter, the grinder needs cleaning often and is not easy to disassemble and reassemble, and the carafe doesn’t keep the coffee warm. I cannot recommend this product!

Grind your coffee fresh

The capacity is good at 10 cups or small amounts if preferred. The materials used are very appealing, nice design. Makes a very good cup of coffee, raking the guesswork out. Thank you.

Stopped working

We are so disappointed with this coffee maker. We have all cafe appliances including the Cafe Expresso machine and all have been fantastic. We decided to purchase this pot and sadly just a little over a year of use and it stopped working. Our only option was to pay for service since it was out of warranty. We decided to spend the money on a different brand instead.
