Uses TOO MUCH coffee per cup

The design is stunning and when you use your own ground coffee, you get fully customzed coffee. BUT there is NO WAY to calibrate the amount of coffee beans used per pot or cup. You can change brew strength all you want, but the amount of beans ground even on “light” is still way too much. It consistently makes too strong a coffee. I have now owned both of your yucking piece of ehit, coffee makers, which neither one of them can heat coffee. I have now had to heat all coffee made from your coffee makers in the microwave to bring to any kind of temperature and after this morning, I will never buy any more of your yucking coffee makers. Best Christmas Gift!

Received this as a Christmas gift last month overall I am impressed with the brewing styles and the flavor of my coffee. I love the convenience of the app in getting my coffee set up for the week to brew automatically. A few items I have found since using I would like to mention. 1. There is no heat only or hold function for keeping coffee hot. When it first brews it is perfect however it only last about 45 minutes. After this it is lukewarm at best and requires a heat up in the microwave. 2. ...

Do NOT buy this

Don’t do it. It’s pretty. It looks nice. I fell for it even after reading some bad reviews. Unless they change the engineering of the bean hopper; it won’t work. I bought one brand new, it wouldn’t grind. GE sent another, brand new, it wouldn’t grind. Worse part? You had to turn the entire contraption upside down to empty out the beans. I ordered an entire GE Cafe Suite. I bought this as an add on. Now I’m nervous, I’ll be honest.

Don't Buy

Terrible product. Less than a year old and leaking water. Has had issues since I got it where you have to add beans or water when it wasn't the case. Looks great but not great design for the purpose. I'm no buying Cafe appliances again.

We love this machine

Easy to use and great coffee

Very happy with this coffee maker. It's easy to use. The grinder makes for a fresh cup every morning. When guests come, switching to making a full carafe, while still having the "Grind' feature, is quick and easy. Coffee comes out delicious and quick every morning. (My only issue, the time setting never stays at the correct time, no matter how many times I set the clock).

Brand new and still evaluating

Beautiful presentation and it seems to be working well so far. Experiencing learning curve to get the settings using different beans, suited to my taste. I haven’t gotten it right, yet. I haven’t experienced difficulty cleaning or leaking which are widely experienced by many according to the reviews I’ve read, but waiting to see how it works over time

Great features

Minor irritant

I utilize 1:15 ratio of water to beans. The machine always asks me to add water. A minor irritation but I do not know how to accept my judgement.

Good machine, not the absolute best, but good!

Would also like to be able to adjust the amount of beans that are ground for a pot of coffee, this option is not available and I feel like it grinds more than as needed. Otherwise, the coffee taste great in the machine looks nice on the countertop and it’s easy to use

Stopped working less than one year

I have had this coffee maker for less than one year. The grinder completely stopped working. I’ve disassembled it twice and cleaned it every which way I can. Still will not work. I do not recommend this to anyone. You will be wasting your money.

Grind volume

Machine, (it’s only been 2 days) makes great coffee and is easy to set up and use. I wish there was a way to control the volume of coffee grinds, as my basket was over full on the second pot, yes, I emptied it between pots. Otherwise, the machine is very visually, appealing, and so far functionally awesome
