Great for a limited time.

I have had this machine for 2 years. I loved how it looked expensive (it is expensive) and I liked the coffee that came out of it, but now that it's out of warranty the numbers on the machine will sometimes partially display, the tone after completing brew cycles will sounds dimmer or will sound stuttered/repetitive, and the finish is wearing off, it's a nice a machine but I expected more from GE especially with this price, and no one wants to buy a new coffee maker every couple of years.

DO NOT BUY: Worst coffee maker ever

There is really nothing redeeming about this coffee maker. The metal finish on the pot started peeling off within a couple months of light use. The "smart" app that it comes with is not intuitive and disconnects often. The water reservoir doesn't detach and is very difficult to clean. You can't turn on the warmer manually. The design of the coffee filter gets grounds all over the internal parts. Don't waste your money....there are many cheaper coffee makers that are 100x better quality.

Issues after 2 years

Makes good coffee but I do not like the functionality of the design, and purchasing in white was a mistake. Been using this almost 2 years and now there is a delay when it starts brewing and it is slow to drip. The lights on the knob that light up while it’s brewing have started glitching also. Beautifully constructed machine!

First, it is a BEAUTIFUL machine and looks great in my kitchen! The pros: makes delicious coffee, easy to pour water into reservoir, brews coffee quickly, carafe does not spill when pouring coffee into a mug, very well constructed machine, wifi accessible via the app. The cons: there’s no “Keep Warm” setting on the machine or in the app. The coffee does stay warm for 2 hours but it is not possible to extend that time for those in my home that sleep in on the weekends. Attractive and fast

I had my eye on this product for a while and finally saw it on sale and bought it. The coffee is good although I cannot detect a difference in the temperature settings - there seems to be no difference. Truthfully, I bought it because it looks good on my counter with other white items. Which brings me to my biggest complaint -- a BLACK cord on my WHITE coffeemaker! Really? At this price, couldn't it be a white cord on the white coffeemaker?

No manual control for warming plate.

It is impossible to turn the warming plate back on after two hours which absolutely unacceptable.

Awesome coffee!

I didn't know what to expect but was very impressed with the taste and speed of the appliance. Will be getting another one if we get a camper.

not hot enough

Something about trying to brew only 3-4 cups makes it so that the coffee doesn’t quite come out hot enough. The brew cycle happens so quickly it’s almost as if the machine doesnt heat the water enough before it runs throught the filter. Maybe there could be a small brew function for when you only want 2-4 cups of coffee.

Terrible

Very disappointed with this coffee maker. If you use too much ground coffee in the basket it makes a terrible mess. The biggest disappointment is the coffee is not hot even on the hottest setting. Too expensive for its performance. I wish I never would have purchased it.

Nice to look at

Very disappointed with this coffee maker. The coffee is not hot but Luke warm. Too expensive to be this mediocre.

Doesn’t last long

Stopped working after a year. We did proper maintenance on it, changed filters, descaled, and it only lasted a year. An expensive coffee pot with low quality.

Disappointment

This coffee maker does not make hot enough coffee and the hot plate does not keep it hot. I can't find a way to replace the glass carafe with a stainless insulated one which I would hope would keep it hot longer. Now I'm back to a keurig

Love the look and style of the Cafe Coffee Maker. The smart features are a nice touch too! Easy to use and program & coffee grinds works no matter the size!

Poor Design

We received Coffee maker Model No. C7CDABS4RW31 as a gift in January of 2023 and had to replace it 2times in less than a years time. Our third replacement has now shown an error cod of ERR3 just like the two previous coffee makers and unfortunately the one year warranty has run out and GE refuses to replace it. There appears to be a defiant flaw in the design. I do not recommend this product
