Love Brother Printers!

Brother printers are great quality for not a huge investment. I've had quite a few thru my career and they are very reliable and long lasting.

Excellent features, esprcially for the price.

We are using the HL-L8260CDW for direct mail campaigns. We print over 200 letters each week. Great value for a color printer.

nice to gave a robust printer at home

Does what it is supposed to do, print, do it quickly without spinning a hundred gears and flaps, dont run out of ink every other week. Best home printer I ever had by far.

Reliability

I’ve owned about two or three Brothers printers and have generally been satisfied with each one. I operate a small home business and my Brothers printer is central to my marketing and outreach efforts. Brothers printers tend to be easy to use and maintain although the printer cartridges are quite expensive. All in all, a great product. The only one I use.

Overall a great printer

For our application with a lot of variables, it has had a fairly steep learning curve. We upgraded from a HL-4570CDW so were already pretty familiar with the setup.

Nice looking and quiet printer

A friend has this machine and recommended it as it used less ink and very quiet when printing, had a HP for years but it used VERY expensive ink supplies. Will be replacing our other printers with this model but with copy and scan features.

A bit disappointed

After loading the driver a number of time the printer worked well. The paper feeder arrest lid is small, it held about 20 -40 pages, the rest fly onto the floor. The pages were numbered so I was able to sort the book after a hour or more. I purchased a extra paper tray that is not recognized by the printer as tray 2 nor tray?? after I reloaded the parameters from the face plate. I just no second tray.

Good printer with starter limitations

Bought this printer to complete an event program brochure which consisted of 4 color pages front and back. Printed 50 copies and ran out of cyan, yellow and magenta toner. The quality of color printer was very good but starter cartridges should contain more toner.

Overall Performance

Overall the performance is good. I am concerned with the wireless connection - it is deceptive. Yes it has the capacity to print high volume in color, however the receiving speed is slow. Because it is wireless this gets bogged down at times and becomes incredibly slow.

Great color printer for a home office environment

Love my brother color printer. High quality prints, ease of use and cost per copy is cheaper that comparable HP printer.

My Review for HL-L8260CDW

Very user friendly and connected easily to all my devices--multiple computers, iPhone, and iPad. Printing is prompt and love the two-sided copying feature. Color quality of flyers created is excellent. Best color printer I have owned.Highly recommend.

Simple to setup and works great.

We recently purchased this after our Brother MFC-9420CN stopped working with IOS. We had that product for over 12 years and hope that this unit will last at least as long!

Great Product

I love the reliability of Brother products, especially the mid-level laser printers. I've always used Brother for printing, but have just purchased my first color laser.

Great quality

I’ve owned Bother printers before and so far this one is just as good. Easy to set up on my home network. I’ve never owned a color laser printer before and this unit seems to very well on plain paper. I want to get some photo quality paper and see how that looks. When toner is out - Printer becomes a paperweight.

All I'm going to say is, when your toner is out (yes, it does warn you for awhile when it's low), the printer is USELESS. It becomes a paperweight. You can NOT print anything (even black and white when a color is out) until you buy a NEW cartridge. You can not place a cartridge from the same model into it. I have been using inkjet printers and while the initial quality was good, I did not print in color enough to keep the jets clean. So I was not getting my money's worth out of the inkjet cartridges. Due to cost considerations, I had switched to a Brother black laser printer (HL-2270DW) to print black and white and had great success. PRINTER ONLY ( no copier,\scan or fax included)

I really thought I was getting an all in one but only got a PRINTER. But, I must say a good printer. The instructions to setup not good. Had to wait to talk to brother tech for setup. Open only Mon-Friday .So now I have to buy a another piece of equipment to scan,fax and copy.
