GOOD FOR TEXT, BUT...

If you need a printer to print good quality text, at good print speeds, and reasonably priced for a laser, this be the one for you. BUT, if your needing to print areas of solid color, screened backgrounds, photos... this printer is terrible! Streaks all throughout photos and solid color areas, uneven color, "spattered" color; very disappointed in the print quality of this printer. Thought i could get away from the dreaded printer streaks of inkjets by getting a laser, but this printer is worse a...

HL-L8260CDW

HL-L8260CDW- too early to give it 5 stars but appears to be working ok- occasionally drops the network signal in a five printer office to print- Then corrects itself minutes later - so that's not good. Also had some difficulty recognizes the disc when connecting to the network. (Using Comcast)

I've only had it a few months but no gliches, and the drivers installed perfectly on the first try.

Been using Brother printers for years and this one is the best so far. Fast, quiet, excellent print quality, WiFi and double side printing! Recommended!!!

No Frills, Just Great Color Laser Printer

The usual easy setup with networking options. My company is hooked to Brother printers for years now.

It's tricky with the Internet

I do like the crisp printed pages. It doesn't always connect to the Internet when I am sending a page, still trying to figure out what is up with that. Eventually does print, but weird how it doesn't connect every time. I wish it came with a printed owner's manual.

We just started doing monthly in-house mailings. Yes, snail mail. The printer is performing wonderfully. I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to use

Easy to use I have used it on small jobs and large booklet printing never had a problem.

Basic small office printer

This printer is fast, but only after it starts. It may take almost a full minute to start printing sometimes. But, the color is great, the speed is above average once started, and the ink seems to last much longer than our old Canon.

Does it right

It's fast and does a hell of a good job. Double sided works fast. Can't say enough about it. Never been so pleased with a printer
