Would Not RecommendAlleged exact replacement for the QP342WW which had failed and parts not available and also discontinued. The shape of the new one has sharp corners - not curved or as rounded corners. Has rocker switches that are not on the front or top which means they cannot be seen from the front without bending over. No light adjustment or timers. Two speed fan and no high heat automatic fan. Excellent Product, But Installation Can Be Tricky
Would RecommendThis is an excellent range hood. It is powerful enough for our small kitchen, relatively quiet on the low fan setting, and the light is very bright. But it may not be the best choice for a retrofit. The range hood is screwed into the bottom of the cabinet above with screws 9/16” long. Our old cabinet has a 1/4” thick hardboard bottom, so we had to add structure to it. Horrendous instructions
Would Not RecommendHorrendous installation instructions. The ex bracket wont eork on a cabinet with recessed bottom. And there is no template for the mounting screws Dimensions are based on knowing the centerline for the duct. Ive spent 4 hrs trying to mount this and it still isnt up.

Simple and beautiful
Would RecommendBeautiful, but also simple with no extra fuss (I don’t need digital display and a remote or anything besides a couple fan speeds and light). The light is a bit bright and I think it could have had a dim option. I took one of the bulbs out right from the start to see how easy it was to change - bad idea. I had such a hard time getting it back in. Maybe others do fine but I just couldn’t get it in and it took several tries!
