Pretty good in construction
Would RecommendThe hood vent itself is pretty well made. The only throwback was that the instructions were small type and could have been better separated for the installation type than it was. I had a time discerning the items and places on the small instructions and had to read through to see which was actually me and my installation method. I guess they sell internationally since I had the same thing in three languages and threw away the other two. It operates very good and I started with the Halogen bulbs ...
Installation not what is presented on box
Would Not RecommendThe box for this unit states that it is a one person, 30 minute install. For us, it was more like 3 hours. Also, our local store does not carry the 36" charcoal filters. Broan gave numbers to search it on the Lowes website that are not correct. I still don't have my filters. Very frustrating. Not recommending due to installation hassles.

Would RecommendReceived it, has a small dent in the middle top of hood and both filters are slightly dented.Did not come with light bulbs. But other than that it seems okay. Of course, the dents really have nothing to do with the manufacturer I guess, more so how it was stored in warehouse.

Would RecommendWe kept looking and reading different reviews on these. Finally after a final decision to purchase this one, was the smartest. Love how quiet it is and the lighting on it is absolutely great. We defiantly made the right decision on this purchase!!
Installation is pretty straight forward. However the mounting brackets did not work for mine. Build quality is good the instructions are ok. The only issue I have is finding th charcoal filters. Lowe’s does not carry them as far as I can tell. Overall for the money it’s a good range hood.
