Very nice, BUT bulb replacement is anguish!

I would give this range hood 5 stars EXCEPT the process for replacing the bulbs is RIDICULOUSLY difficult. The indentations as a guide are not helpful at all because you can’t see where the connections are on the bulb when inserting it. AND YOU ARE STANDING ON YOUR HEAD TRYING TO DO IT! Other models/brands have an access you can pop off, replace the bulb easily, then put the access back in place. I was amused reading Broan’s response to another reviewer saying the process can be a little tricky....

The tech that installed the unit A+

After the installation exhaust fan and lights didn't work. Went back to Lowes and model I picked out is not available by the manufacturer.

Decent purchase

I.picked up this range hood from the store and when it was unboxed several dings were apparent in areas that would be unseen once installed. Installation seemed to be fairly straightforward. I knew ahead of time that I would need to furnish the light bulbs myself but this is a cheap move by the manufacturer. The installed range hood looks very nice and the fan is not very noisy. I am pleased so far but have not needed to check its officiancy.

Defective Hood

The install was good, however I have had a problem with the right light bulb since I purchased it. I could not figure out why the right bulb would randomly fall out, it always had to be replaced before the left bulb. The issue has been so distinct I decided to look up in the light fixture to see what the problem is. There are 2 TOTALLY different light fixtures on this range. Finally solving this problem is the highlight of my day. It has been mind boggling for 2 years. Now to see if the company ...

Very Basic

I very much wanted to buy a 36" Black Broan "Allure" range hood, but apparently they discontinued it. A nicer Broan model, I couldn't get in 36" black. This model, which I could get in the size and color, is thinner gauge sheet metal, easily bent or dented, with GU10 light fixture I had to center by gently bending into position. Despite the pics shown here, my hood vent has no Broan badging.

Low Quality

Least expensive range hood I could find, did not inspect when I picked it up. Has sharp edges on the front exposed edge and a dent in the hood.

Easy to install, very quiet even on high setting, lights are great but are not included so get some while you are there.

I like the lights, nice and bright. I like the quiet fan.

Great Choice

I like the fact that the sound of the fan is not overpowering. I like the fact that it does the job of taking most of the heat coming from the stove top up and not into the room. I like the light especially because it has 2 choices...1 bright and 1 softer. The soft one is a good choice at night.

Items Not included

I purchased this product online and no where on the listing does it say that the lights are not included. I was surprised when my installer let us know during the installation process that we have to go buy lights but I have no idea of which lights to buy. I went online just to double check and saw the reviews. Broan responded to a review that the info is on the box. I disagree with that comment since you cannot see the box when purchasing online. Not cool. I will return and not recommend.
