Would RecommendBrillo pads get even the most baked-on crud off your pots. I had a pot that I forgot on the stove, The liquid I was heating baked on a tough carbon coating. I could barely scrape it off with a knife. Then I remembered I had 2 Brillo pads left. It took a little elbow grease, but the Brillo cut right through that carbon mess and saved my pot. It even retained enough soap to clean the sink and another pot that was stained. These things are great!
