What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this dishwasher for its exceptional quietness, with many describing it as whisper-quiet and needing the red indicator light to confirm operation. Reviewers consistently highlight superior cleaning performance and appreciate the third rack for silverware, automatic door pop-open drying, and convenient running indicator. Long-term loyalty is evident, with many customers reporting multiple purchases spanning 15-20 years, reflecting strong durability and reliability. A small group mentions mold on racks, inconsistent drying, or confusing controls, though these concerns are far outweighed by widespread satisfaction and repeat purchases.

Would RecommendAnother Excellent Bosch product. Very quiet and well designed. Really like the third rack. Minor downside is the 500 does not have the ability to lower a portion of the third rack.

doesnt dry
Would Not RecommendWhile it washes well, everything other than the silverware on the top shelf comes out soaking wet even with extended dry cycle. The layout is also very awkward, you cannot actually fill the dishwasher all the way with where the spokes are located. Will be returning!
Excellent dishwasher. The Lowes Employee was able to answer any questions.

Great dishwasher
Would RecommendI bought this dishwasher about a month ago and I absolutely love it. It is so quiet you can’t hear it when it’s running. It cleans exceptionally well.

love the dishwasher
we really liked our first Bosch dishwasher, and we're glad to get a second one. We had the first for over 15 years and it was still running great!

Don't buy a Bosch dishwasher
Would Not RecommendBosch does not stand behind its products and its warranties, and customer service are valueless. When I tried to get a written response to my case number concerning an obvious design fault in the handle on the third rack which keeps disengaging, I was told that Bosch only warranties stainless steel dish racks.
