Ratings & Reviews for Bosch 12-volt Cordless Impact Driver (Battery Included and Charger Included and Soft Bag included)

all around fine tool!

this tool is so powerful it makes sinking 3-1/2"deck screws into pressure treated 2x4's a breeze. knowing when the battery needs to be recharged before its too late is also a great feature. where has this tool been all my life?! I love it!

Great little tool

I like the design of the Bosch 12-volt cordless impact driver. It's light weight, powerful enough for routine household tasks, and comfortable to handle. The LED light panel is extremely helpful when working in a dim setting. The first driver had a short of some kind so wouldn't always work. Lowes replaced it under warranty and it's working like a charm.

Great Little Tool

Had the tool for 3 months now, use it all the time. Fits in my nail apron which is handy on a ladder. Lots of power in a small package. Don't have to lean on it to drive a screw. Batteries charge quickly. Not wild about the zippered case, but it serves it purpose.

pull the trgger and nothing happens

I have now bought 4 Bosch 12 volt corless drills in 3 years and the triggers function poorly and eventually burn out. These are for home use and not to be used for professionals. I use this everyday taking sheet metal screws out of panels. Two of the drills broke after the 1st year and one of them after 6 months. Lowes will not take them back but Bosch will fix them on the 3 year warranty. So why does Bosch have a 3 year warranty? guess.

Perfect for what I need to do around the house. Perfect weight and size.

compact and powerful

We bought this unit to take with us to trade shows. It does not see as much use as the 18v DeWalt units we have had for a while, but it is very compact and fits well in the hand. It seems to go quite a while without recharging, and the compact size is easy to pack and carry (the reason for buying this one instead of another DeWalt). The kit bag is also a nice touch - more convenient than the plastic case of the DeWalt.

Powerful Impact Driver for its Size!

The small size and weight of this Impact Driver is great . Just fastened the T1-11 siding on my backyard shed with it without a hitch. For such a small battery, the working time is very good.. Batteries snap into the driver and give positive contact lock. Battery life feature is a positive and shows condition when trigger is pulled. Charging time is very short. Bits change easily and the lighted LED ring gives good spot light.

Mini Powerhouse

In New England we use the term "Wicked Pissuh" This impact gun is Wicked Pissuh! I love it. Incredible power, super compact, fuel gauge, three LED's. Nothing wrong with this tool. Period. Battery last a long time, 30 minute recharge, light and compact, easy to use. I pull the adjustable trigger with my middle finger and use my index finger as a guide for the tool. Better than the Milwaukee M12 and the Dewalt 12v Max. I love this tool!

Very good quality

I replaced a Craftsman with this impact driver. It is heads above the Craftsman, both in power and quality. Good feel in the hands and does not tire my hand out like others. I will go with Bosch now on instead of Craftsman.

Great performer

I use this constantly. It's compact, but very powerful when you need it to be. Love the light. It fits into tight spots well. Also, great if you have small hands. Just great!

This is a powerfull tool for it's size

I own two of these , 1 for home and 1 for work,at 70 years young, I appreciate a lightweigt tool. Working high in the air shingling an old shoe factory, this tool makes it easy for me to place screws in my straightedge and remove them.

Big Power, Small Package!

I use this impact driver in a woodworking shop. It's greatest feature is the variable speed which allows me to drive any size fastener without stripping or fear of splitting wood. The compact size and light weight are terrific. I have small hands and it fits me perfectly. The LED light at the front is superb for dimly lit places. It holds a charge for a long time. I find myself grabbing this instead of the 18 volt impact I also have for 95% of the tasks I have. There are no negatives to this pro...

10 Times Better than DeWalt

I have always used DeWalt tools, I have been in construction for over 20 years. When a little 12 volt system has 4 inch lbs less than my 18 volt DeWalt hammerdrill. WOW! I was amazed. This is easy to handle and get's into spaces that I could only hope to get into with my DeWalt. I love this little impact driver with HUGE power. Keep it up Bosch, you have my business for now on!

Awesome addition to any tool kit

I used this impact to build a 16X30 deck at my house. I used all hidden fastners for the deck planks so the amount of fastening was essentially doubled. It never skipped a beat or couldnt drive in a screw. Money well spent. I have used other brands as well, this one is light, powerful, durable, you name it. Very happy with this purchase.

Best tool in the box!

This is the most versatile tool I now own. It fits into tight spots, is incredibly powerful, lights the way, and the charge really lasts. Thank you Bosch, Steve.

this product has great features

Reasonably powerful. Would be nicer if it came with the somewhat higher capacity batteries. It's still a nice tool though. Comfortable to use. I don't much like the soft-side case. It's got elastic straps in it that don't quite fit the tool, battery, and charger. I find it easier to just ignore them, as they're a little too fussy to deal with. Hard case would have been better, I think. Or maybe something that was more of a catch-all soft case. Pockets for bits and such. As it is, it's just a 'b...

Great Gun

This is a great gun to have on hand. I use this driver everyday from building cabinets at work to letting my wife use it at home to hang pictures.

Really impressed

I've been using my PS41-2A for a couple of years now and I am really impressed with the power this small driver has. The use I get between charges is astounding. A co-worker of mine liked it so much he went out and bought one of his own. Good work Bosch, keep the the ideas rolling, I think your tools are great.
