Would RecommendDrilled a pilot hole first as my application required a hole in conceete close to the edge. This bit followed the pilot and easily cut the hole i needed with ease. Used a dewalt hammer drill.

Would Not RecommendI attempted to drill 3 anchor holes in my 4 inch concrete shop floor. Never completed one fully. I used 2 other used bits (worn out) and they finished the job better. I spend money at Lowe’s and routinely receive slack products. ordering online poses additional risks of photo lies. See electronic bolt locks with door knobs. They are not true bolts

TOUGH!
Would Recommendbought this extra long bit to drill through about a 6 inch thick piece of wood; it worked! Wasn't super bright and had wood on the ground on a rubber mat and the drill bit just kept being a trooper and drilled right through the mat and into my concrete garage floor! Now I have a 1/2" diameter x 1" deep hole to remind me of my stupidity and the durability of this masonry bit!

Would Not RecommendWhat the other low rating reviews are saying is the truth. I was in the termite treating business for 30 years and have drilled more than a few holes in cement. I retired and sold all of my drills and bits - and lucky me, I need to drill some holes in cement for a fence installation. This bit dulls after very little use and you have to muscle the bit to do any drilling at all. Look for a different bit!!
