Would RecommendThis is a very well made drill bit. It's designed for the Bosch SDS-Plus drill, but can be used in a conventional Jacob's chuck. A good hammer drill makes short work of drilling full-depth holes in concrete. Don't try drilling with a conventional (i.e. non-hammer) drill...it'll take you forever.

Not worth the $$
Would Not RecommendI got an cheap drill bit and it lasted 6 holes each 1 inch deep in my concrete slab. This bit only lasted 2 holes 1 inch till the end got round and would not drill and further.

I drilled 40 holes in a brick wall for installation of Simpson Helical Wall Ties using this bit - alternating between an SDS-Plus hammer drill, and a regular-chucked hammer drill. I expect to drill some more holes in that wall with this bit.

Drills quick and clean
Had to drop 44 anchors into a concrete pad. This bit consistently clean out the holes for us. Good design by Bosch.

Would RecommendI used this bit to make multiple holes in a masonry wall. It performed well beyond my expectations. I actually purchased more than one to complete the job, however one bit was tough enough to finish. Excellent masonry bit.
